GREAT LAKE: Chanel may be without a creative director, but the brand is steaming ahead with plans for its next cruise show.
First out of the gate, the French fashion revealed on Thursday that its destination show is scheduled for April 29 and will be set against the serene backdrop of Lake Como in Italy, though further details on the location remain under wraps.
With its spectacular villas, Lake Como is a magnet for A-list celebrities and a perennially popular spot for luxury brands to stage events.
Last year, Dior presented its high jewelry collection at Cernobbio’s Villa Erba, while more recently, Rhuigi Villaseñor showcased his Rhude menswear collection in the lush gardens of Villa D’Este, an opulent Renaissance palace turned luxury hotel.
