Toto, we’re not in Muskoka anymore.
“Sterling Point” star Ella Rubin has officially landed at Paris Fashion Week, and at the Chanel spring 2027 presentation, no less. Surrounded by Nicole Kidman, Alexa Demie, Dua Lipa and more, the 25-year-old actress — who, since the release of Amazon Prime’s YA series this past summer, has earned comparisons to Hollywood royalty such as Julia Roberts and Anne Hathaway — made her much-anticipated front row debut with the kind of quiet glam that screamed “It” girl.
Rubin’s face followed a skin-first technique beloved by the wider beauty mecca for the last few years. Anchored by a clean yet slightly dewy complexion, the aesthetic is minimal, crafted using natural tones and featherweight formulas. It’s safe to assume Rubin’s was courtesy of Chanel Beauty, given that the Gen Z actress recently became a brand partner.

But where her previous Chanel Beauty looks have borderlined siren with a sultry shadow line and pouty, overlined lips, her glam on Monday was toned-down, featuring what appeared to be bronzed lids, a light layer of mascara and a worn lip.
While Rubin’s most recent looks have been crafted by makeup artist Shayna Gold, whose A-list client rotation also includes Jennifer Lawrence and Grace Gummer, she has not been named as the visionary behind this one. Gold did, however, share a breakdown of the “The Idea of You” star’s makeup for a Chanel Absolu celebration in New York, calling out the key products, including Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint in Medium, Les 9 Ombres Eyeshadow Palette in 587 The New Smoky and Rouge Coco Longwear Satin Lipstick in 115 Biarritz.
It’s also important to note that Rubin’s hair at Monday’s presentation was on par with stylists’ predictions for fall. Colored a rich shade of espresso, one that’s already been promoted by the likes of Hailey Bieber and “Off Campus” breakout Ella Bright, Rubin’s frizzy curls were combed into shiny waves that moved over her shoulders. The soft texture was likely the work of either Jacob Rozenberg or DJ Quintero. WWD has reached out to both for confirmation.
In “Sterling Point,” Rubin is seen with loose finger waves that appear natural and full, courtesy of lead hairstylist Chrystal Lotz. Off-screen, Rubin’s chocolate-brown texture is the typically same, though she does tend to favor this sleek version on the carpet. See here for how to achieve her texture.
