Emma Stone wasted little time taking Louis Vuitton‘s spring 2027 collection off the runway. On Wednesday night, just one day after the collection debuted in Paris, the actress wore one of its newest designs to the premiere of “The Debut” at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall during the 2026 New York Film Festival.
The two-time Oscar-winning actress turned to the French luxury fashion house’s spring 2027 ready-to-wear collection, which debuted at the Louvre’s Cour Carrée on Tuesday. Stone opted for an airy style that was trending among celebrities during Paris Fashion Week, wearing a customized version of the fifth look from the collection.
Instead of the pops of yellow included in the original design, Stone’s NYFF look went with muted grays and beiges. The slipdress was highly evocative of the ’90s, updated with the layered bustline effect and exposed seams beneath the bust.

Stone, who was named a Louis Vuitton ambassador in October 2017, added delicate jewelry to her look, including a bevy of rings along with a pair of dainty hoop earrings. As for footwear, the actress wore a pair of nude sandals courtesy of Aquazzura. Stylist Petra Flannery curated the actress’ look.
It was just one day earlier that Stone, along with Lisa, Zendaya and Saoirse Ronan, sat in the front row for creative director Nicolas Ghesquière’s parade of spring 2027 ready-to-wear designs.
“I wanted to express a sensation of simplicity — a quest for purity somehow,” Ghesquière said during a preview, per Miles Socha’s WWD review of the collection. “The idea of lightness, of fluidity is very important with that collection.”
Socha wrote that the spring 2027 curation “was one of the breeziest, most approachable and prettiest Vuitton collections in years, hinged on familiar garment archetypes — three-hole dresses, cardigans, blousons and reefer coats — in delicate, gauzy, flowing or papery fabrics that whispered luxury — and progress.”
Despite the look of “quiet clothes” throughout the collection, Ghesquière’s curation “required a maximum of research on fabrics, technical construction and engineering. From a sheet protector, he pulled out a fabric card of scarf-weight, checkered cashmere, which he employed for double-face coats.”
Stone had another connection to Wednesday night’s premiere beyond the red carpet: She produced “The Debut” alongside Dave McCary, Ali Herting and writer-director Jesse Eisenberg. The A24 comedy stars Julianne Moore as a New Jersey housewife who lands a part in a local musical and becomes increasingly consumed by the role. The film opens in theaters Dec. 11.
