Just in time for cold-weather season, Lola Blankets — the cult-followed, ultra-soft blanket company — on Friday will launch its collaboration with Los Angeles-based apparel brand Aviator Nation.
It marks Lola Blankets’ first foray into partnering with an apparel brand after successfully launching collaborations with influencers Rachel Parcell, Tessa Barton (known as Tezza and cofounder of the Tezza photo editor) and American pop rock band Lany, as well as serving as the official blanket of the Utah Jazz.
“Honestly, this [collaboration] has been at the top of my list since probably Day One of the brand because I’ve worn Aviator Nation for a very long time and looked up to their authenticity and originality,” Lola Blankets cofounder Tommy Higham told WWD. “You can tell there’s a lot of soul in their brand because Paige [Mycoskie, founder and president of Aviator Nation] is very much involved in every single detail. From personally designing every single store to personally designing every single garment that they sell — that bleeds into their authenticity. I love to think that’s how Lola feels.”

The statement rings true to the trailblazing home comfort brand, which was launched in 2021 by cofounders and brothers Tommy and Will Higham and has quickly gained momentum across social media thanks to their plush blankets quality (earning 20,000 five-star reviews, the brand said) alongside talent collaborations and activations throughout 2025, including a RZR influencer gifting and a New York Fashion Week show in September. Furthermore, the brand has donated over $500,000 to breast-cancer charities in honor of their mother, Amy “Lola” Higham, who the company was named in tribute of.
He added that 2025 was, “very much a transformation year for Lola Blankets,” thanks to their events, launches and activations, with more to come in 2026.
Mycoskie and Higham each told WWD their brands connected via a kismet happenstance.
“Over the summer I ran into the Lola founders at a farmers market in Aspen and Tommy was wearing Aviator Nation, so I felt like the Lola team had a genuine love for the Aviator Nation brand and this collaboration could make sense,” Mycoskie explained.
She added that Aviator Nation only desires working with those brands that have an authentic connection to what she’s doing. “The collaboration seemed like a great fit because Lola genuinely loves Aviator Nation and the blankets are of amazing quality,” she said.
From there, the brands worked together to meld their aesthetics, resulting in the limited-edition Lola Blankets x Aviator Nation capsule featuring Lola’s signature blanket with a vintage-inspired design in five new colorways (gold, red, beige, blue and black) with Aviator Nation’s signature white lightning-bolt motifs. The collection, available in sizes baby ($135), medium ($275) and large ($425), is available for purchase exclusively through both brands’ e-commerce sites and at each of Aviator Nation’s 19 U.S. retail stores.
“Lola was amazing at making my vision come to life. I wanted the blankets to be fun and elevated and I think we achieved that,” Mycoskie told WWD. “I have them all over my house and they add such a rad twist to my decor. The blankets bring a funky stylish vibe to any space but I especially love them as an oversized throw on a big sofa.”
