While perhaps an unexpected pairing, Havaianas and Isabel Marant share an unapologetic attitude grounded in authenticity and self-expression.

The collaboration presents two silhouettes, including a reimagination of the classic Havaianas flip-flop featuring Isabel Marant’s signature prints and textured finishes; and the new Havaianas Puffed, which offers bold volume and a modern edge while maintaining the comfort and lightness Havaianas is known for. Each offered in two different colorways, the reimagined classic and Puffed flip-flop silhouettes respectively retail for $120 and $190.

For Marant, she told FN that the partnership “represents the Brazilian quintessence of joy, freedom and summer ‘nonchalance.’”

While Maria Fernanda Albuquerque, global vice president of marketing at Havaianas, told FN that the collaboration “reflects a movement” the company has been consistently building over time. “[We’re] showing that Havaianas can naturally exist within very different contexts without ever losing its Brazilian essence,” Albuquerque said.

The flip-flop styles are intended to easily transition from beach to city, offering a laid-back but elevated approach to summer style. The collection launches Friday in selected Havaianas and Isabel Marant stores as well as on both brands’ official websites.

In other recent collaborations from Havaianas, the footwear brand got in on the hype surrounding the film “The Devil Wears Prada 2” with a shoe collection featuring the slogan ““if it’s not heels, it’s Havaianas.” The brand also recently tapped Brazilian soccer star Vini Jr. to become a global brand ambassador. Last year, Lyst reported Havaianas as the hottest shoes of the summer, amid a wave of thong sandals taking over as the shoe style of the season.

As for Isabel Marant’s current footwear presence, its fall 2026 show presented in March featured several silhouettes including curve-heel pumps, stiletto boots and wedge loafers, with plenty of animal prints present. The luxury label is known for its signature wedge sneaker, a style Blue Ivy Carter has inherited from mom Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, and which showed up as one of the hottest products in the second quarter of 2025, per Lyst Index.
