Hoyeon added texture to monochromatic hues at the Season Two premiere of “Squid Game” on Monday in Seoul. The model and actress appeared in the first season of Netflix‘s dystopian thriller, which premiered in 2021.
Hoyeon sported a velvet puff-sleeve jacket featuring silver tassel appliqués, layering it over a textured minidress adorned with sequins, ruffles and small orbs. Both items came from Louis Vuitton‘s spring 2025 collection, which debuted in October.
A pair of leather knee-high boots completed the “Squid Game” star’s ensemble. Stylist Aeri Yun, who also works with Rosé of Blackpink, dressed Hoyeon for the occasion.

She also discussed working with Cate Blanchett on Apple TV’s “Disclaimer,” which is now nominated for three Golden Globes.
“I didn’t used to have a specific role model in my life, but now I want to say my role model is Cate Blanchett,” Hoyeon added. “I learned a lot of lessons from her. Just watching her and her presence, it made me feel I wanted to grow into a woman like her.”
