Even before the “Beckham” docuseries on Netflix, I’ve been a huge fan of Victoria Beckham. I loved the Spice Girls, of course, and I also thought her sense of style was so chic. (I’m refraining from using the word posh here.) The announcement of Victoria Beckham Beauty in 2019 only strengthened that opinion. Since then, I’ve been impressed with nearly every launch, and the new Victoria Beckham Beauty Vast Lash Mascara ($34) is no different.

The brand already has a great mascara in its line called the Future Lash Mascara, which is already editor approved, but Vast Lash is different. For one, it’s a fiber formula, meaning it really packs on the length. Meanwhile, the first product is much more natural looking, perfect for a no-makeup makeup look. I loved the original for everyday wear but will admit I was excited for the drama that Vast Lash promised. Spoiler alert: it delivered.

Ahead, read my full review of the Victoria Beckham Beauty Vast Lash Mascara.

About the Victoria Beckham Beauty Vast Lash Mascara

  • It’s a volumizing and lengthening mascara.
  • The formula is smudge-proof and flake-proof but easily removed with warm water.
  • It has a curve-shaped bristle brush that makes it easy to grab each lash.
  • It contains sea microalgae to thicken, vitamin B5 to hydrate and prevent breakage, and vitamin E to hydrate lashes.

What I Like About the Victoria Beckham Beauty Vast Lash Mascara

The Victoria Beckham Beauty Vast Lash Mascara offers dramatic, bold lashes with a single swipe. Now, a lot of brands say that, but very few deliver on the claim. This mascara, however, blew me away. I decided to use it for the first time after I completed the rest of my makeup and was expecting it to be good, but not this good. I was feeling lazy so I didn’t even curl my eyelashes and ran the curled brush through my eyelashes, and with that single swipe, I instantly noticed more length. The lashes that had been coated in product surpassed the bare ones by a long shot and looked 10 times thicker and fuller. After applying a few more swipes, I was shocked by the difference between the eye that was done and my natural lashes.

When I was done, the look was so bold that I didn’t need any eyeliner or shadow to punch it up; the mascara was more than enough. As someone who loves big, borderline-falsies-level drama, I was obsessed.

Also, as much as I love wearing mascara, I hate removing it, but Vast Lash was a treat even in that department. Despite being smudge- and flake-proof, it’s not waterproof, so it melts away easily with warm water and a little bit of gentle rubbing. This is great, as it stays put when you need it to, but comes off when you’re ready.

How to Use the Victoria Beckham Beauty Vast Lash Mascara

You can use the Vast Lash Mascara with or without first curling your eyelashes. I’ve applied it both ways, and it looks good no matter what. One coat applied evenly to your lashes is enough, but if you really want to layer on the drama (which I always do), you can redip the brush into the tube and apply more on top. It layers nicely with other formulas if you want to “mascara cocktail.”

What to Consider Before Trying the Victoria Beckham Beauty Vast Lash Mascara

There are countless mascaras on the market, and the key to finding the right one is knowing what you like. Are you seeking length? Drama? A barely there look? All of the above? As someone who likes length and drama, the Vast Lash mascara is a match made in heaven for me. If you don’t like a thick, bold finish, this may not be the right fit for you. Also, keep in mind that because it’s washable, this isn’t a mascara that you can wear swimming or to the beach.

Where Is the Victoria Beckham Beauty Vast Lash Mascara Available?
