Karlie Kloss modeled the elegant D’Orsay pump silhouette while out in New York City on Thursday, styling the shoes with an all-black ensemble.
Kloss’ footwear showed off an asymmetrical design with the upper, which is cut away on the inner side to reveal the foot while the other side has a regular low-cut outline. The silhouette was completed by a straight heel and a pointed toe, lending classic design elements to the pump. The shoe was crafted in a lustrous satin which offered understated shine and a delicate softness to the look. The half D’Orsay look can be found from a number of brands, whether Christian Louboutin or Nine West.
Kloss selected the pumps to round out a monochrome black ensemble which ushered in a fall-ready fabric; she modeled a matching miniskirt and blazer in a woolen material with a fitted black top. Kloss is yet another celebrity to have embraced a simple black heel lately, with other examples including Sarah Jessica Parker in archival SJP heels with a mary jane strap at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Kris Jenner in a slingback style with a bow strap detail in New York and Monica Barbaro in a minimalist mule from Paris Texas while filming a movie in New York.
