Herink’s appointment reflects Lafayette 148‘s continued investment in its commercial organization as the business enters its next phase of growth. As Lafayette 148 continues to expand its global reach and deepen its connection with luxury consumers, Herink is expected to lead efforts to grow the brand’s retail and wholesale businesses, strengthen omnichannel client engagement and unlock new opportunities for long-term growth.

“Peter brings a depth of experience that is increasingly rare in luxury fashion today. He understands how to connect product, client experience and business strategy in a way that drives long-term value. His leadership will be an important asset as we continue to strengthen and scale the business globally,” said Deirdre Quinn, chief executive officer and cofounder of Lafayette 148.

Today, Lafayette’s key wholesale accounts are Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. The brand has 12 full-price stores in North America. The company operates its own fully owned design studio and global manufacturing facility in Shantou, China, and is a vertically integrated fashion house.

Herink began Monday and reports to Quinn. He is based at the company’s Brooklyn Navy Yard offices.

“Joining Lafayette 148 at this moment is an exciting opportunity. I look forward to helping drive the next phase of growth across retail, wholesale and client development globally, while building on the strong foundation and distinctive values that have defined the brand for decades,” Herink said.
