Nike is once again charmifying its iconic Air Force 1 sneaker with a subtle yet effective spin on the classic model.
The upcoming women’s-exclusive Air Force 1 ’07 in Vast Grey/Metallic Silver/Pencil Point may appear to be a standard suede version of the shoe at a glance, but a closer look reveals some unique yet familiar additions to the retro basketball sneaker. Built around a gray suede upper, the style’s updates begin at its toe box and quarter panels, which have been given a perforated treatment. Darker gray suede fills in the Air Force 1’s heel tab, and the same shade appears on the woven tongue label’s branding.

But where this upcoming Air Force 1 gets really interesting is its shoelaces, which replace the sneaker’s traditional cotton laces with a sheer ribbon material. A removable keychain at the top eyelet adds a pearl charm and a silver Swoosh logo to the mix, further separating the pair from typical Air Force 1 releases. While Nike has previously applied pearl details and Swoosh-branded charm accessories to Air Force 1s, this marks the first time a realistic pearl shape has accompanied the model.
Accessory-laden releases aside, the Air Force 1 is having a moment in 2026 thanks in large part to its remastered Air Force ’01 form. The variation references the shape, feel and materials of early 2000s-era Air Force 1s and has been well-received by purists. Following a limited-edition LO2 collaboration and the release of the Air Force 1’s staple Triple White colorway, the remastered model will soon be released in more colorways including an anticipated collaboration with Victor Victor.
The Nike Air Force 1 ’07 Vast Grey/Metallic Silver/Pencil Point will be released this fall exclusively in women’s sizes at an expected retail price of $125. The style code for the upcoming release is IX7362-078.
