Simone Biles just debuted a brand-new hairstyle, and we’re ready to award it a gold medal. The Olympic gymnast attended the 58th Annual CMA Awards on Nov. 20 in Nashville wearing a silvery metallic dress and sporting a “Prada bob,” one of this season’s hottest hairstyles.

Biles’s new ‘do was courtesey of hairstylist Justin Revenge. While bob haircuts of all kinds have been having a major moment, the Prada bob has been a fan-favorite among celebrities this year, and was first seen on Joey King a few months ago at the Cannes Film Festival. The look was dubbed by celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, who created King’s style. “The Prada bob is a short blunt cut, swooping inward right above the jawline,” Giannetos previously told PS. “It is asymmetric, but gives the illusion of being a few centimeters longer toward the nape of the neck.”

Biles swapped her metallic off-the-shoulder red carpet dress for a silvery pantsuit later in the night when she presented Lainey Wilson with the award for the female vocalist of the year, but her chic side-parted bob stayed the same. (What’s the point in changing something that’s already perfect?)

This new, short cut is a major shift from Biles’s typical look, which she often wears long and well past her shoulders. Whether she plans on going back to her long style after the big event or keeping the cropped cut for a couple of months, there’s no denying that it’s the perfect time of year for a change. Keep scrolling for a closer look at Biles’s Prada bob, ahead.
