Sports Illustrated is ushering in a new era of athletic and fashion models with its 2025 Swimsuit Issue, which promises to celebrate the achievements and style of some of the most influential athletes in the world. The magazine revealed an exclusive preview of this year’s issue on Thursday, showcasing a lineup of trailblazers, including sprinter Gabby Thomas, gymnast Suni Lee, golfer Nelly Korda and skier Eileen Gu.
Shot by photographer Ben Horton in the sun-drenched locales of Boca Raton, Fla., the issue highlights the athletes’ unique journeys in sports and their growing influence in the fashion world. The Swimsuit Issue will release next spring, with additional athletes and cover stars to be announced in the coming weeks.

Toni Breidinger

Ali Truwit

While competing in the games, Truwit won two silver medals in the 400m-frestyle and 100m-backstroke races. Along with her silver medal wins, Truwit set the record in both events. Truwit lost her leg in a shark attack while snorkeling in Turks and Caicos. One month following her amputation, Truwit was training in the water again for the 2024 Paralympics.

Caroline Marks

Anna Hall
Anna Hall, a 23-year-old track and field star, has made a name for herself as one of the world’s top heptathletes, earning bronze and silver medals at the 2022 and 2023 World Championships. After an ankle injury dashed her dreams of competing in the 2020 Olympics, she returned to the global competition four years later, finishing fifth at the 2024 Paris Olympics with an impressive 6,615 points. Hall went pro in 2022 with Adidas and has since teamed up with big brands like Coca-Cola, Xfinity and Nulo. On Nov. 14, Hall was announced as a model for the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, calling it a “pinch me moment” on social media.
