Tory Burch is embracing both the classic and the avant-garde when it comes to spring 2027 footwear. The American designer’s latest ready-to-wear collection, showcased at Isamu Noguchi’s Sunken Garden during New York Fashion Week, spanned a range of silhouettes, including edgy woven styles, classically shaped pumps and more.
In Burch’s opinion, the spring 2027 shoes stand out amongst her brand’s body of work. “I have to say our footwear are probably my favorite shoes we’ve done,” she said, per a WWD report. The designer also explained that footwear makes up around 45 percent of her business, alongside 45 percent in handbags.
An official description of the shoes reads, “Inspired by draping fabric on the body, peep-toe pumps and Venetian-style slippers wrap and fold elegantly around the foot. Leather cord is handwoven into elegant slingbacks, and delicate thongs are topped with jumbles of mother-of-pearl, beads and faux shark teeth. On several styles, hand-painted soles extend and spiral around the heel — a take on past seasons’ twisted details.”

The woven leather shoe designs were among the spring 2027 highlights, with slingback kitten heel pumps and loafers featuring slender straps arranged in clean parallel lines or knotted bows, alongside contrasting soft fold-over details.
A different pump style fell in a more classic realm, extending the brand’s Bunny Knot family with layered rectangular vamp embellishments. Another pointed pump style, the Beaded Arch pump, was awash in a vibrant hues with tiny colorful beads embellishing it; intricate beading and decoration was part of the Tory Burch spring 2026 shoe lineup as well. The Arch silhouette, also found in a leather T Monogram print, featured a curvaceous, asymmetric vamp outline with a sharp point.
Meanwhile, a two-toned pump played with lines and cutouts, with a V-cut peep toe and a spiraling detail around the stiletto heel.
In the sandal realm for spring 2027, a flat slingback style featured contrasting leather and suede straps for an elevated casual design. The brand is also pushing the ballerina trend forward with the Reva ballet flat featuring the T logo and dainty bows.
Burch said of her spring 2027 collection, “It’s opulent femininity meets American pragmatism, so I focused a lot more on textures and still twisting American sportswear, but pushing it further.”
Before the spring 2027 styles hit stores, the Tory Burch Pierced Mule has evolved for fall 2026 with new textures including snake-embossed leather with silver hardware. Launching in October, the shoe maintains its original essence with clean lines, an inverted heel and statement trompe-l’oeil “toe ring.”
The designer is known for her innovation with unique footwear, whether it’s the Pierced line or the Tory Burch Peep Toe pump featuring an asymmetric peep-toe and twisted heel.
