Taylor Swift returned to her Nashville roots with a statement minidress from Raisa Vanessa on Monday night for the 56th Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala at Music City Center in Nashville. The 36-year-old became the youngest inductee into the Hall of Fame, just two days after the 20th anniversary of her self-titled debut album.
The Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter turned to the Turkish fashion brand’s fall 2026 collection, sporting the burgundy velvet crystal-embellished mini dress with chiffon print. The dress gave off just enough of a Western vibe for the occasion and also brought rich fall color to an evening celebrating the songwriting career Swift started building in Nashville when she signed her first publishing deal at 14.
The burgundy velvet minidress was completely embellished with a bouquet of florals, featuring crystal additions throughout. The fitted, strapless silhouette featured shades of orange, pink and purple against the deep burgundy velvet, with a short hemline that kept the look playful.

Along with her velvet minidress, Swift added pieces of diamond jewelry, including a 65-carat diamond necklace by Leviev and a pair of custom Anita Ko Large Pear Diamond Stud earrings. As for footwear, the “Life of a Showgirl” singer opted for more fall tones with a plum-hued peep-toe heel featuring a shimmering ankle strap. Swift regularly collaborates with stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer on her red carpet wardrobe.
Founded in 2011 by twin sisters Raisa Sason and Vanessa Sason in Istanbul, Raisa Vanessa has slowly but surely become a favorite luxury brand for several high-profile stars, including Swift’s close friend Selena Gomez, as well as singer and actress Halle Bailey, among others.
The brand’s fall 2026 collection, from which Swift’s Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala minidress hails, was a mix of contemporary styles and designs that harkened back to the ’70s. Zebra print flared pants and cropped tops with draped, ruched sleeves called back to the fun and exploration of decades past, while proportions and shapes leaned more modern.
Monday night’s invite-only event saw Swift, Lyle Lovett, Bruce Channel, Shawn Camp, Lee Thomas Miller and the late J.I. Allison all inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. The evening also featured 40 Hall of Fame inductees who came together to honor George Strait, who became the second recipient of the Career Maker Award.
