Fashion’s famous second generation was well represented at the 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday night. Lila Moss, Meadow Walker and Esther McGregor were among the arrivals at New York’s American Museum of Natural History, joined by Hailey Bieber and Gracie Abrams, among others. And the famous last names weren’t their only connection: many of the attendees opted to wear designers that are CFDA Awards nominees.
Lila Grace Moss
Moss, who has followed her mother Kate Moss into the modeling business, went with Juju Vera Studio for the occasion. Her strapless black column gown featured a wide velvet band across the bust, while a black-and-white wrap with long fringe fell loosely around her arms.
She added dangling earrings and a delicate silver headpiece that stretched across her forehead, with a single jewel suspended between her brows.
The label’s founder, Julia Ferentinos, was nominated for Google American Emerging Designer of the Year.
Gracie Abrams
Gracie Abrams went with another emerging designer, Colleen Allen. The singer, whose famous father is filmmaker J.J. Abrams, kept things relatively simple in a strapless black velvet gown with a straight neckline and dramatic draping along one side. A long panel of fabric fell toward the floor, while a delicate silver necklace and her short, side-parted hair completed the look.
Allen was nominated in the same category as Ferentinos, giving the two very different black dresses something in common beyond their wearers’ famous parents.
Meadow Walker
Meadow Walker took a considerably more colorful approach. The daughter of the late “Fast & Furious” actor Paul Walker arrived in a bright yellow jacket and matching midi skirt, both rendered in crinkled fabric. The fitted jacket featured narrow lapels and a slightly flared hem, while the skirt fell in fine vertical pleats below her knees. Slate-blue pointed-toe pumps provided a welcome pop of contrast.
Esther McGregor
Esther McGregor, meanwhile, had considerably more volume to contend with. The actress and model, whose parents areEwan McGregor and production designer Eve Mavrakis, selected a look from Thom Browne’s spring 2027 ready-to-wear collection that combined traditional menswear details with an enormous, rounded skirt.
Her gray plaid bodice incorporated a white collared shirt, striped tie and tailored vest, opening into a white skirt decorated with black checked panels and geometric detailing. Chunky black-and-white platform shoes peeked out underneath, while her visible arm tattoos added another element to the otherwise precise tailoring.
Browne was nominated for American Menswear Designer of the Year, making McGregor’s unconventional take on a suit particularly appropriate for the ceremony.
Hailey Bieber
Hailey Bieber had another direct connection to one of the evening’s biggest honorees. The model, who comes from Hollywood’s Baldwin family, arrived in an all-gold Saint Laurent dress by Anthony Vaccarello, who was named International Designer of the Year.
The long-sleeved, high-neck design from the spring 2027 collection featured ornate metallic floral patterning throughout its fitted, below-the-knee silhouette. Dark brown fur-like cuffs broke up the gold, which continued down to her delicate ankle-strap sandals. Bieber kept her dark hair loose in center-parted waves.
Vaccarello, who marked 10 years at Saint Laurent in 2026, was among the designers receiving special recognition Monday night.
The 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards, presented by Amazon Fashion, were held Monday at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, with Keke Palmer hosting. The ceremony celebrated American fashion across womenswear, menswear, accessories and emerging design, with nominees including Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Ralph Lauren, Willy Chavarria and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen of The Row. Special honors included Vaccarello’s International Designer of the Year Award, Tory Burch’s Positive Change Award and Peter Marino’s Fashion Icon Award.
